that nothing is normal
except what you watch on TV.
Brutalized chicks, sexuality,
the kind of person they want you to be.
You feel like you don’t belong here:
is that how I’m supposed to live?
Hearing the news of murder and disasters
while at the grocery store:
(a) constant reminder of fear and distress
so that you can buy more.
Terror tactics, scaremongering:
the alarmism on which they feed.
You’re not allowed to enjoy your life
‘cause somewhere there’s been
a killing spree.
Never forget that the world
is coming to an end,
don’t think by yourself.
Trust the system that will lead you
to your death,
obey authority.
Watch your siblings following the path,
no detours, no complaints,
